Hey there,

I'm David. There was a time when I kept my story close, and as a result, to the outside world, it may have looked like I had it all—a thriving business, three adult children, a comfortable home, and a healthy lifestyle. But here's the truth: the external image masked an internal struggle. Despite the facade, my inner world was in turmoil. I struggled to admit it—I felt the weight of expectations, my own included. Being vulnerable seemed impossible, yet it was the key I needed to unlock my healing and rediscover my purpose.

When COVID hit, life changed drastically. Suddenly, I found myself alone and disconnected. Gyms closed, so I started doing workouts outside, lugging boulders up a hill. People passing by asked what I was up to, and I would joke and say I was doing "caveman workouts." Surprisingly, folks were intrigued, and some even mentioned they wanted to join in the workouts.

During this time, I was also working with an incredible therapist, a doctor who's now part of the support meetings at CaveMan Tribe. We talked about the loneliness and loss of purpose many men were feeling. It hit me: I wasn't alone in this struggle. We peeled back layers, discussing how, despite external “success,” many men were quietly suffering. That realization was a turning point.

That's when I decided to create something more—a space where guys like us could find community and purpose amidst the chaos.

CaveMan Tribe wasn't just born from my experiences; it was forged from the collective of men seeking connection and meaning in a world where feeling fulfilled seemed out of reach. It's a place where we share our stories, our struggles, our wins, and lift each other up.

It's not just about my story anymore; it's about our shared narrative—growing, thriving, and finding strength in togetherness. I founded CaveMan Tribe not because I had it all figured out, but because I hadn't. It's a space where masks come off, where we embrace vulnerability, and where the myth of the "perfect life" shatters. Here, we create a safe space to share experiences, our burdens, our wins, and discover strength in our collective journey.

Rumi said, "The wound is the place where the light enters you." Let's embrace our wounds together and find the light.

On the journey,

David James
